The Atlyn Pledge
If we build it,
everyone gets in.
Technology has always promised to democratize opportunity. It rarely delivers. The same tools that empower the privileged stay expensive, complex, and out of reach for the people who need them most. Atlyn is making a different choice — and putting it in writing.
The Problem We're Pledging to Solve
AI will either close the gap or widen it. That's a choice.
The most capable AI tools on the planet today sit behind enterprise contracts and premium subscriptions. The schools that are failing their students cannot afford them. The adult learner restarting their career after a layoff cannot afford them. The workforce development center trying to help fifty people at once cannot afford them.
This is education poverty in a new form — not a lack of schools or teachers, but a lack of access to the intelligence layer that is reshaping everything above it. If that layer stays expensive, it becomes another force that compounds advantage for those who already have it.
Atlyn is building that intelligence layer. And we are pledging, here and explicitly, that access to it will not be rationed by ability to pay.
"The schools with the fewest resources carry the heaviest burden. Charging them is not a business model we will build."
— Atlyn Pledge, 2025
The Atlyn Foundation
Every D and F school in America.
Free. For as long as they need it.
The Atlyn Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with one mission: put ClassMind — Atlyn's K–12 AI learning platform — into the hands of every school in the country rated D or F, and get them out of the bottom. The target is zero D and F schools in America by 2035.
The Commitment
Any school in the United States rated D or F gains access to ClassMind at no cost — zero licensing fees, zero implementation charges, zero strings. The moment they're no longer failing their students, we celebrate and move on. The goal is zero D and F schools by 2035. Not by passing policy. By solving the problem from inside the classroom.
The Rule We Won't Break
Atlyn will never charge a school that is failing its students. Not a discounted rate. Not a pilot fee. Not a grant-matching arrangement that puts the cost on them. The Foundation's funding comes from Atlyn's commercial success — the schools that can pay subsidize the schools that cannot. That is how this was designed to work.
The Legal Structure
The Atlyn Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit — not a marketing initiative, not a line item in a CSR report. It is a legal structure built to hold this commitment regardless of what happens to Atlyn as a business. The mission is locked in by structure, not just intention.
Adult Education & Reskilling
For the people rebuilding from scratch.
Career pivots are hard. Reentry after a layoff, a health crisis, incarceration, or years of caregiving is harder. The people who most need high-quality career guidance and skills development are the ones who can least afford it.
Atlyn commits to offering Helix and Ignition — our career skill intelligence and adult learning platforms — at no charge or deeply subsidized rates to accredited adult education centers, workforce development programs, and employment reskilling organizations.
That means AI-guided skills assessment to help counselors understand exactly where someone is. AI tutoring that meets adult learners where they are, not where a curriculum assumes they should be. Team dashboards that help program administrators see what's working across an entire cohort.
We will also support the systems that support these programs — the state workforce boards, the community college systems, the nonprofits doing the unglamorous work of helping people find their footing. A great reskilling center deserves the same intelligence infrastructure as any Fortune 500 company. Under this pledge, they get it.
Helix for Reskilling Centers
Career skill intelligence that maps where each person is and what they want to grow into. Proficiency × Passion profiles that surface hidden capability — the skills someone forgot they had, the direction they actually want to go. Squad Builder for matching participants to opportunities that fit.
Ignition for Adult Learners
AI-powered learning pathways built for adult learners who cannot afford to go slow. Curriculum-mapped tutoring for certifications, new skills, and career transitions. Context-aware — it knows where someone is starting and moves at their pace, not a cohort average.
Supporting the Systems That Support People
Workforce boards. Community college departments. Nonprofits. State employment agencies. The organizations that wrap around adult learners in transition — they need data too. Atlyn's platform tools are available to these systems at no cost, because better infrastructure upstream means better outcomes for the people underneath.
The Pledge
In plain language. Without qualifications.
We will never charge a failing school.
Every D and F rated school in the United States gains access to ClassMind free of charge, for as long as they remain underperforming. This is not subject to budget cycles, investor priorities, or board decisions. It is locked in by the Atlyn Foundation's 501(c)(3) structure.
We will make Helix and Ignition available to adult education at cost or free.
Accredited adult education centers, workforce development programs, and employment reskilling organizations will have access to Atlyn's career intelligence and learning platforms — subsidized by the commercial revenue that makes it possible. The people in transition deserve the best tools available.
We will support the systems that support people, not just the people themselves.
The workforce boards, state agencies, and nonprofit organizations that sit between individuals and opportunity will have access to Atlyn's administrative and data tools — because helping a person is inseparable from helping the institution trying to help them.
We will use whatever access and experience we earn to lift up the entire world with us.
Every product Atlyn ships, every revenue dollar we earn, every data insight we develop — we will ask whether it can be turned toward those who need it most. Not as a tax. Not as charity. As the most direct expression of why we are building this at all.
